Name of the product – Wenzel Mountain Trails 1-Bottle Lite Waist Pack.

Price – Approximately $12-13.

About the product

I was searching for a ‘no frills’ waist pack with a reasonable price for long. And it finished at this product. I have a hand held 20 oz bottle from Kalenji which supports me for a max 2 hour run. And I longed for another bottle which I can have on my waist and something to carry my phone, house keys and some eatables like dates. For some time I ran my long runs without my phone and keys hidden under the door mat(hey, don’t come to raid my house, huh!).

I scoured the internet and found Ultimate Direction’s packs the best but they were out of my budget. I stumbled on this product and immediately informed my brother who was due to come back from States in a month’s time.

The material of the waist pack is very robust. It has a 31 cubic inches of a small compartment to carry your phone, keys and a couple of mountain trails lite waist pack

Outside the compartment, a bungee cord with a adjuster clip is fixed to carry your light jacket or t-shirt(if you are into bare chested runs) or a buff. review mountain trails lite waist pack

The bottle is a 20 oz capacity which can sustain you for at least an hour and a half of training run on a hot day. The bottle has a smooth plastic sipper and fits in well in the bottle compartment. The bottle can be further secured by a bungee cord from the top and the middle. It minimizes any extra movement of the bottle and hence causing less fatigue.  review mountain trails lite waist pack

Personal opinion

I found this product matching my requirements and expectations. For a 3 hour plus run, this waist pack along with a hand held bottle is sufficient. It is comfortable and does not move around to give a perfect fit.

Though the designers could have done away with a bit of padding on the front to further reduce the bulk. But no complains though.

FINAL VERDICT – A useful product at an affordable price range. Go for it.

Till the stay fit and keep running.
